Ivory color lathe turned handle "super" badger brush available in large or extra large size.  Large brush stands four and a half inches tall, and extra large brush stands five and one quarter inches tall. Marked "Super Badger made in England" by Vulfix.

A shaving brush creates lather by using a shaving soap or cream and is warm to the skin as it raises the hair for shaving. In addition, it gently massages the face and improves skin circulation. brush was larger than expected and had a slight prickly feeling when putting soap/lather on my face. However, that will probably go away as the bristles soften and the handle fits my palm like the shift knob on a Ferrari Testa Rosa (my dream car)
